Portrait photograph of architect Cesar Pelli, founding partner of the firm Cesar Pelli & Associates, sitting on an office chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames from Mr. Pelli’s office in New Haven. Mr. Pelli was born in Argentina and is architect of many distinguished buildings including World Financial Center in New York and Petronas Tower in Malaysia. Before opening his own firm, Mr. Pelli worked in the office of Eero Saarinen. In 1977 he became Dean of the School of Architecture of Yale University.
