The firm achieved awards from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Mr. Roche was awarded the 1982 Pritzker Prize. His major works include the Ford Foundation Building, New Haven Coliseum, U.N. Plaza, National Aquarium, and modern additions to Quincy Market.
